  • Create detailed specification documents, and coordinates and executes test plans
  • Ensure a robust and reliable interface engine application

How to Get Hired as a Healthcare Integration Analyst

What does a healthcare integration analyst bring to the table? A bachelor’s degree is typically required, but sometimes 2 or more years in computer science or information technology is sufficient.

Other important qualifications include:

  • 3+ years experience working in healthcare interfaces or interface development
  • Strong understanding of HL7, ANSI and AAMI standards
  • Working knowledge of various interface engines such as Mirth, Cloverleaf, etc.
  • Working knowledge of one or more programming languages/ reporting systems, including .Net, Java, XML, SQL, Crystal Reports
  • Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong planning, and organizational skills
  • Must have a significant understanding of health care applications software
